RRB NTPC and Group D: live photo and signature rules

Railway Recruitment Board applications in 2025-26 capture a live photo inside the form, so there is no photo to resize. The file you upload is your signature: JPG only, 30-49 KB, at least 140 × 60 pixels, scanned at 100 DPI or more, in running handwriting.

Every RRB website refused our connection on 2 Nov 2026, so we could read the Level-1 (Group D) notice only through search-engine excerpts, and we could not open the NTPC 2026 notices at all. Treat this page as a guide and confirm the rules in your own CEN.

Partly verified Group D rule seen only through search excerpts; NTPC 2026 notice not opened

Official sources: RRB Detailed CEN 09/2025 (Level-1), updated 30.01.2026 (30-01-2026) (site refused our connection; read through search excerpts). Last checked 2 November 2026.

News sites report that applications opened in October-November 2026, but we could not open the official CEN. RRB's 2025-26 notices used the signature rule above; check your CEN before you upload.

Relaxations of the upper age limit for some categories are listed in each notice.

Tips for RRB NTPC, Group D

Sign in running (joined) handwriting with a black pen on white paper. Signatures in block or capital letters are not accepted.
Keep the signature inside a 35 mm × 20 mm area on the paper so it scans at the right shape.
For the live photo: plain background, good light, no cap, mask or glasses.
