India Post GDS 2026: photo and signature size
India Post’s GDS online engagement asks for a recent photograph (320 × 400 px recommended, shape 4:5, 30-100 KB) and a signature (300 × 120 px recommended, shape 5:2). Both should be 72-150 DPI. The instructions say to avoid scanned photos and selfies.
The notification and Annexure-II allow a signature of 20-100 KB, but the portal’s user manual says 20-50 KB. A file of 20-50 KB satisfies both, so that is what our tool aims for.
